On New Year's Day, my mum and I went to Folkestone and walked by the sea. I saw a mermaid, a sign warning that rainbows may appear ahead (and one did!), a bollard that had been decorated like a Christmas tree, and handbags made from old videotape cases.

For Ingress Second Sunday in January, a group of us did a banner around East Ham.

I helped organise Ingress London First Saturday, which was our first in person London First Saturday event since the pandemic and despite the train strike and the rainy weather, we had a good turn out in Leadenhall Market.

I attended a class on Metal and Moving Parts: Making Creative Mobiles, Stabiles and Performing Sculptures and learnt how to make Calder style mobiles, how to use various machines to do metal work, and made some automata.

I went to see Horror Show at Somerset House with [personal profile] doseybat and [personal profile] miss_newham.

I saw giant bubbles outside the Cheesegrater.

I went to see the Winter Lights at Canary Wharf with some Dorkbot people.

I viewed a house.

I ate meghli and date ice-cream.

One Saturday, I laid down on a bed at the Edel Assanti gallery and watched a video by Jenkin van Zyl as part of the Surrender exhibition.

I ate cinnamon bun ice-cream, looked at books in Foyles and did an Ingress banner in St James's Park.

I walked around Norbury and then Streatham Common and Tooting Bec Common doing an Ingress banner.

I participated in Genuary and made generative art, but didn't manage it every day of the month this year. Genuary posts
