Genuary 15: Jumping

I jumped and the sine wave changed! Jumping on the pressure mat caused the frequency of the sine wave to randomly change, via Processing and an Arduino. Video on Flickr: Pressure mat and sine waves.

Genuary 16: Reflection of a reflection

I took a photo of a reflection and flipped it, and then created a fake reflection of that in Processing, adding some speckles and flipping it.





Genuary 17: A grid inside a grid inside a grid

I couldn't think of anything interesting to do for this one, so this is what I ended up with:


Genuary 18: Definitely not a grid

"Definitely not a grid" made me think of roads. In London, roads are mostly not arranged in grids, so I recorded sounds from walking around, and made them randomly play and now I'm a bit scared of the large flock of seagulls in my living room. Seagulls on Soundcloud.

Genuary 19: Black and white

Genuary 20: Art deco

Art deco always makes me think of buildings, so it seemed like a difficult prompt. In the end, I just made some shapes appear in a minimal kind of manner and it didn't look art deco at all, but never mind.





Genuary 21: Persian rug

I had no idea about Persian rugs! I looked up some symbols that appear on Persian rugs, but then found it all a bit difficult and gave up.
