A volcano (active)
A desert
America/Canada
Iceland
The Dead Sea
Japan
Tropical island

I would like to visit mountains, because I had a dream about an impossibly steep double-peaked mountain in the pale gold morning sunlight. I know I won't find it anywhere, but I'd like to examine a few mountainous areas in detail to make sure no-one's left it lying around there by mistake (after all, the best place to hide an imaginary mountain is amongst real ones).
I've been near a volcano. The other places sound cool.

Ooh yes, mountains would be good too. Proper purpley ones that change your breathing and have peaks and peaks.

The Italian Alps changed my breathing, but I'm not sure if that's because I was up high or because they were awe-inspiring :)

Relatively nearby (like, compared to the Andes or somewhere), and gorgeous. Especially when covered in snow.
