NaNoWriMo starts soon, and as I've been reading Twisty Little Passages, I'm vaguely contemplating writing some kind of interactive fiction/text adventure type thing for it.

squirmelia was at Southampton at the same time as fides. She kindly took me to Flickr and NaNoWriMo meetings one day when I was at a hopeless loose end and would otherwise have been a stay-at-home mope.
