Currently in Cornwall, searching for stone circles, paddling in the sea, wandering across cliff tops, visiting iron age villages, looking for mermaids, watching seals, eating gooseberry ice-cream, staring at surfers, trying not to stand on black and orange caterpillars, picking blackberries from hedgerows, lying in the heather, photographing quoits, looking for dens of giants, witches and dancing devils, and tomorrow, I'm catching a boat to the Isles of Scilly.
Other things I did in New Zealand
Jul. 19th, 2009 06:29 pmVisited galleries participating in the Auckland festival of photography; Wandered around Devonport; Visited Shortland Street; Walked through tunnels at North Head; Saw rainbow after rainbow; Looked at dead sea creatures in the Auckland Museum, and live termites; Visited the island of Waiheke; Viewed the city at sunset from the Sky Tower and saw people just outside flying through the air; Saw more of my relatives; Visited the island of Rangitoto and clambered on volcanic rubble.
