Fairy Picnic"Two flashers, please", my mum asked the woman at the kiosk in Syon Park. The woman seemed confused and after some laughing, we were given two sticks that lit up and changed colours when we pressed a button. We were impressed by this show of light. My mum said she had recently found tiny glow sticks at the bottom of the freezer that had been saved from a long ago Guy Fawkes' Night when I was a child.

We entered the Enchanted Woodland, and saw trees lit up in pink, blue, purple and green. We saw speckles of light dancing on leaves from a mirror ball. A pit with smoke coming out of it and roaring sounds had a sign saying "Beware of the dragon", but I was not scared. Underneath another tree, a picnic had been over-run with fairies. The reflections of the trees in the river looked magnificent, and the sky glowed orange. There were glowing cubes high up in one tree, and a light show that looked almost like fireworks on another. Flora's Column shone. In another tree were lanterns and owls. Inside the Great Conservatory, green beams appeared almost as if they were laser beams, music played and children danced amongst the plants.
