Marrakech is my destination in about a week and a half. Any recommendations for: trips into the desert, food (vegetarian), good places to take photos?

My mother and half-brother are going to Marrakech and Fez next month, so I was rather hoping you'd come on the goods on where to go. Surely you must have some eccentric guidebooks?

I have some guidebooks and a Moroccan Arabic phrasebook, I admit.
