Wishing Well and Clouded Sky

A wishing well equivalent was found, conveniently near to the cash machine outside the union shop - cunningly disguised as a post holding the building together. I clutched some change and then added just a single penny to cling to the blu-tac smeared pillar. Wishes were formed, mainly for peace.

Nice image, and the wishing post is a lovely idea.

But it's terrible that the first thought I had about it was the cynical "it'll never work in this day and age"... :-(

Incompetent genies? An interesting idea.

I'll try to track down my local representative of the Genies, Fairies, Leprechauns and Pixies General Union and ask him. (Or her. Or it.)

However, they're notoriously difficult to find even for union members, so it could take a while...

I'll keep looking for a GFLPGU representative, though. Today I looked in the bottom of a tub of chocolates, and in a bottle of coke. No joy. I'll try again tomorrow, though...
