The alien has been submerged in blue paint, wiped from the building and freed from thinking about you. If I smother myself in paint, will I gain the same state of mind, a fume-filled blankness that no longer lets undesired thoughts of people (and thoughts of inappropriate displays of emotion) intrude? Possibly not, but I have coloured in one of my knuckles with biro, just in case.

that's a pity, that alien was cool. in fact the whole building looked well funky.
are they your photographs? i'm tempted to turn the alien one into an icon at some point

Only half of it has currently been painted, so at least there is a bit left, but it is a shame. I keep thinking the paint is not real, that it is just a blue curtain, and the alien must still be there.

I think the original photo I took of it is here (http://jodi.freeshell.org/DSCN1509.JPG), and the smaller versions here (http://jodi.freeshell.org/outlaws.jpg) and here (http://jodi.freeshell.org/outlaws2.jpg). You're welcome to use them for whatever you want.

On my way home from work, the word "birotechnics" popped into my brain and I wondered what it could possibly refer to. And now I know!

That's sad. Good graf deserves a chance to shine, not be obliterated by some municipal works people... :(

The situation has got worse today. There is only one side, one square, and a stripe at the top left of it all now. :(

That's very sad

He was pretty cool. And you could always do it and if it doesn't work out join the blue man group. Has that ever made it to the UK?

I have watched it, made software for it break, but I've unfortunately never been to Mexico.

Do you know [livejournal.com profile] abigailb then?

A couple of years, it was a lot of fun and a completely different way of life.
