Plants, voices, sunrise, leaves
Aug. 2nd, 2004 01:15 pmA few weeks ago: I found that a seed had sprouted in a dirty cloth, and planted the little green stalk in a pot. It has now grown so large, the type of plant that you can see how much it has grown from day to day, and it looks like it is a tomato plant. No cloths have appeared on it yet.
Friday: On the verge of sleep, the sounds of the loud voices in the street seemed to belong to people I know. If I had been awake enough to look out of the window, I would have heard entirely different sounds.
Saturday: I had left the windows open to try to counteract the heat, but was woken by noise or maybe the temperature, around dawn, and looked out to see the sun rising, the sky streaky and glowing.
Sunday: Yellow and green leaves became untangled from the strands of my hair as I washed it, and I watched those leaves drift into the water.
