200 unusual Ice-creams of the last decade
Dec. 12th, 2023 04:02 pmThis is the year I finally decided to put unusual ice-cream flavours I ate into a spreadsheet, with the year(s) I ate them and locations. There are about 200 of them, from the last decade. I included sorbets, but not ice-lollies. Also wasn't sure about things like ice-cream with a katsu curry sauce, or ice-cream profiteroles, and some of these flavours are very similar, like green grass and cut grass, and four slightly differently named pumpkin flavours.
My plan is to eat more usual flavours and add those to the list too, and probably add flavours I can remember eating but can't remember when, including before my records began, such as Christmas tree flavour.

I wasn't sure whether to put that one on the list really, but given the glowing nature, felt like I should. This was possibly at SCOOP: A Wonderful Ice Cream World, which appeared briefly in 2018, and had some interesting flavours and experiences.
Naughty. I think this one I ate in Reading, but it wasn't very good. Maybe that was what was naughty about it.
Opera was a flavour I ate in Venice. Can't remember exactly what it was, but it was a good flavour, with chocolate and hazelnut in it. Would eat again.
Kulfi, yes, I think normally it's a style, but I remember the place had one labelled "kulfi" amongst other standard flavours.. maybe it was just cream kulfi?
