What I did in November 2022

I started to go back to the office 3 times a week… and then got ill with a bad cold for the first time since the pandemic. I lost my voice and felt awful! I tested every day and was negative.

I attended the Douglas Coupland bookclub (online) but couldn't really speak.

I went to the Tate Modern and saw Cecilia Vicuña's Brain Forest Quipu.

I went to the Whitechapel Gallery and saw Zadie Xa's House Gods, Animal Guides and Five Ways 2 Forgiveness.

I went on a walk from Charlton to North Greenwich for Ingress Second Sunday and ate a roast in a pub.

I tried the Swedish Christmas drink, Julmust.

I visited Hastings and it was great to see the sea.

I caught up with doseybat in a cafe in Leytonstone.

I did an Ingress banner in Leyton.

I went to see the Vore exhibition at the Rose Easton Gallery.

I met a friend in Elephant & Castle and we walked around Elephant Park. I ate panadoro ice-cream at Badiani. We also wandered around the Southbank Centre and into empty event spaces with good views. We visited the Poetry Library and played games in the Poetry Games exhibition. The JCB coloured singing lift no longer sings, which is sad.

I went to see the Christen Sveaas Art Foundation: Portal De Plata, selected by Donna Huanca, at the Whitechapel Gallery.

I had drinks and ramen with a friend one evening.

I walked by Richmond Green deploying battle beacons to get an Ingress badge with other Ingress players one evening.

I recorded the sounds of Rice Krispies.
