Random walk dice roll cross-stitch

Many dice were rolled to make this cross-stitch. If I rolled a 1, I would do a stitch to the left. 2 = right, 3 = up, 4 = down, and this time I ignored 5 and 6.

How did you decide what colour the stitches would be? Dice or vibes?

Last time I used 5 = "change colour" but that got irritating, so this time I just changed colour when I ran out of thread, and cycled between the colours, and that was far less annoying. :)
