At the start of June was EMFCamp, which I’d been looking forward to for 4 years. It was so great to see old friends, see bands for the first time since the pandemic, go to interesting talks, go to an Infrastructure Club meet up, play sounds on an arm, attend some of the demo party happening, work in the shop, learn about making Protracker modules on an Amiga, dance a little bit, tie the tentacle/monster to a gazebo to keep it upright, have people interact with the tentacles/monsters, and my tent survived the storms!
On the day I returned from EMFCamp, the exhibition with my King’s Arms piece in it opened!
For Ingress Second Sunday, I did the Strolling in London banner.
I went on the Elizabeth Line for the first time, and then went to Punchdrunk’s immersive performance - The Burnt City, with
I went to the Pembury as
I ate breakfast in Turin ice-cream and gianduja ice-cream at Gelatorino and then went on a tour of the Kingsway tram tunnel and enjoyed seeing a little bit of London I hadn’t seen before. And then on my way home, I bumped into an Ingress player on Waterloo Bridge.
I went to
I attended an online introduction to design class by Punchdrunk, which was interesting.
I ate Happy Toast with Steelfusion.
I went a pub in Richmond with some Ingress players and sat outside.
I ate apricot tart ice-cream at La Gelatiera.
I saw strange snails with limbs in Aldgate Square, and an interesting plaque on a bench and “something good happened here”.
I did an Ingress banner that took me to Brentford and Kew and walked past Sega’s building with Sonic on it.
I reached level 16 in Ingress for the second time.
