In December, I went to my new office for the first time for a tour. There are great views and I’m looking forward to exploring the area around Aldgate more.
tackline and I went to see Lightopia at Crystal Palace, and also climbed up the Marble Arch Mound! There was some lovely scaffolding to see inside and some light installations.
I watched the Solstice sun rise at Stonehenge online.
I visited Folkestone and walked on the beach and noticed the shoe artwork by Tracey Emin.
I visited my mum at Christmas and ate many roast potatoes.
On New Year’s Day, my mum and I went to the seaside and walked around Hastings, and it was warm enough that I actually made it into the sea!
I re-read Girlfriend in a Coma for the Douglas Coupland bookclub.
I met up with
doseybat and we wandered around Clapton and Hackney Marshes.
I went to an Ingress Second Sunday and we walked around Pimlico.
In January, I attended an assessment and got a diagnosis for autism.
I helped organise an Ingress event and we fought over portals in Hyde Park and afterwards I sat inside a pub for the first time since March 2020 and ate cake.
I walked about 20km one day doing an Ingress banner around Mile End with friends, and sat inside a cafe for the first time since March 2020 and also a pub for the second time.
I saw sculptures in the city, ate rhubarb panna cotta ice-cream, and did a quick Ingress banner around Trafalgar Square.
I did an Ingress banner and walked around Mitcham and along the River Wandle to the Merton Abbey Mill and stood underneath some pylons and stared up.
I saw my family a few days after Christmas and we ate nibbles and walked to Lullingstone, and I gave them tiny bottles filled with cherryade and "drink me" labels on them.
I attended online Ingress First Saturdays in Southampton and Llanfairpwllgwyngyll.
One Ingress Second Sunday, I did a banner in Isleworth.
In January, I participated in Genuary and made generative art every day of the month.
