What I did in November 2021

I wrote more than 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). My novel is mostly nonsensical, but nevermind, "no plot, no problem!"

I also attempted NaNoGenMo (National Novel Generation Month) and created a Piem generator. (A Piem is Pi+poem, a mnemonic to help remember Pi, so each word has the corresponding number of letters in it to the digit in Pi. For example, I was taught at school, "How I wish I could calculate Pi" = 3.141592.)

I got the booster vaccine. Thank you excellent vaccinator, poggs!

I went to the Architecture of Data Centres exhibition at Roca and read about unusual data centres.

I did an Ingress banner I had created, and walked from Canary Wharf to the Traffic Light Tree and then around the Isle of Dogs, and to Mudchute Park and Farm. I saw pygmy goats there. I danced around the traffic light tree and sang to it, "O traffic light tree, O traffic light tree".

I saw my family and visited the British Museum and we walked past St Paul’s and over the Millennium Bridge, and I tried Pino flavour ice-cream (porcini mushroom, Baileys and chocolate).

I visited Catford and nearby areas, and ate waffles and ube milk tea. Thank you for showing me around blue_mai!

I attended stay at home Bournemouth Ingress First Saturday and helped solve the passcode challenge.

I met up with Ingress players in Lewisham for Second Sunday and we walked around and completed a few banners.

I walked from North Greenwich to Greenwich high street and then walked through the foot tunnel and ate some cake by the river.

I walked around King’s Cross, Bow and Stratford, playing Ingress.

I walked around St James's Park and saw the pelicans.

I went to the Wellcome Collection and saw exhibitions on Joy and Tranquility.

I attended the Douglas Coupland Bookclub and we discussed Polaroids from the Dead.

I played games with friends, such as Scattergories and Dominion.

I walked around Paddington and saw the marvellous clock that has a man trapped inside it.

I visited Kensal Green cemetery. Thank you for the Ingress banner secretlondon!
