Giant jellyfish, created in Teletext

I watched the Nova Demo Party on Twitch and enjoyed seeing the demos and hearing the music. I created a Teletext page and entered it into the Teletext competition.

I continued with my Sound Art class and learning how to use Max. We learnt how to use Max and Arduinos together, so I attached a button that when you pressed it would play a sound in Max. Then I moved onto making music with my mind! I connected the Mindwave EEG headset by bluetooth to the bluetooth modem connected to the Arduino and that was connected to my computer and then Max read the serial data and played sounds!

I have also been working on a Max patch that uses data from the turnip prices in Animal Crossing and then plays sounds based on the prices.

I attended two Ingress First Saturdays! Cambridge and then London. I draped my living room in Enlightened bunting, spent a few hours on Zoom chats, took the required selfies and tried the decoding challenge with photos of portals.

I continued running! I am still doing Zombies, Run! three times a week, running into Twickenham or Richmond or just around my local park.

The Mystery of the Lost Keys happened and was quite awful. I lost my keys while running and was locked out for a bit, but luckily my landlady lives nearby and had spares and I got to stroke her dog! I ended up running/walking 11 miles looking for the keys and ended up quite exhausted.

I watched some of the Twitch stream for a demo party in Sweden: Forndata 2020.

I watched Maraoke on Twitch and sung along from home.

I played the Life is Strange prequel, Before the Storm, and The Hex with a friend. I played more Animal Crossing and Milkmaid of the Milky Way, and a few other games that came in an itch.io bundle.

I attended housework sessions and craft sessions with Jacqui and friends on Zoom, and continued my cross-stitch pendants.

I got an F-Max poster and stuck it up on my wall! (Part of the Amiga Power: The Album Kickstarter.)

I ate fiddlehead ferns and garlic scapes for the first time! I also ate some interestingly flavoured chocolates! Algae/caramel/pineapple was definitely not my favourite and too seaweedy for me. Cheese/walnuts/grapes was a good flavour! Spaghetti ice-cream was good and I hope to try real spaghetti ice-cream one day. Hemp praline was also okay.

I enjoyed reading Jeff Noon's latest book, Creeping Jenny.
