Eynsford Bridge and Ford
I stood outside the Tate Britain and listened to the sounds and stared at the oddly melting ice and deteriorating looking decorations.
I had drinks with
I had lunch with
I went to Maraoke and sung carols about video games! I stood on stage and sung about Dizzy. It was the night after the election and singing made us feel a little better.
I went to Bleak Christmas and sung more carols and ate Christmas pizza with goths and it was all so bleak.
I finally returned a suitcase to
I took part in a treasure hunt with colleagues one afternoon.
I went to Dorkmas at Dorkbot and listened to excellent talks on Christmas jumpers that change pattern to match the music, preserving digital heritage, instrument design, and there was also music involving theremins and gameboys, and a magician!
I wandered across fields and into the woods and stared at fungi and the old graffiti on the trees and birds tweeting. I think I saw coral fungi there amongst the leaves.
I visited St Albans and spent Christmas with my family. On Boxing Day, I walked along an old railway line and stood on an old railway platform in St Albans and said "Windermere" in different voices with my nibling.
I saw The Ocean at the End of the Lane at the National Theatre and it was wonderful, but sad.
I saw Alex Chinneck's Alphabetti Spaghetti twisted postbox in Canning Town.
One day I visited the Orleans House Gallery and saw mystic art there.
I went Christmas shopping with my mum in Bromley.
I saw the Winter Lights in Wembley and enjoyed walking through a tunnel of lights that pulsated in time with the music and standing inside a giant LED Christmas tree.
I took the boat to Greenwich and went to the Moon exhibition and the Astronomy photographer of the year exhibition and saw some beautiful photographs. I did an Ingress banner in Canary Wharf.
I went to the Wonderful Things exhibition at the V&A and saw some wonderful things and then ate ice-cream at Snowflake Gelato. "Wonderful things please" I said. "Are you asking me for wonderful things or for a ticket to the exhibition?" I was asked. "Both," I said, "both."
On the last day of the year I cross-stitched a Cthulhu necklace, went for drinks with
