Her cactus? Well, it was kept at a distance.

That looks like an Aloe, which is in the order Liliaceae (lillys) it isn't a cactus anyway.

Quite probably, since I wasn't too scared of it, and I am of some actual real ones, due to an unfortunate case of a cactus attack.
