My girlfriend was a business-woman who liked to wear shoulder-pads. She told me that words were more powerful than little foam pads, but she didn't know what words, so sewed pencils to the inside of her jacket.

Then she remembered how powerful love is, and wanted to cut off my fingers to wear on her shoulders. Naturally, I wouldn't let her, although let her cut off some of my hair instead, which she sewed to the inside of her jacket.

Soon after that, she stopped answering my phonecalls, and eventually sent me a letter, explaining that she didn't like my new haircut as it accentuated my weak chin.

My former girlfriend and I used to eat rosebottles with peanutbutter on the square near the parliament. Peanutbutter symbolized suicide - since I once nearly choked in a slice of bread with peanutbutter - and rosebottles symbolized affection, the square near the parliament was just accidental coincedence. It was quite a symbolic afternoon, when the vodka made her dance. She got compliments from an old couple walking by. It's strange, but I never regretted the end of our relationship.

i love this, and find this underlying truth to it.
how in love we often take something from the other, and then the lack of it in them becomes why we want to leave.
if that makes sense.
