What I did in June 2018

I went on a work trip to Adastral Park, and stayed in Felixstowe and had a great time exploring. I walked by the sea, saw forts and rabbits and container ships and Martello towers and gardens and piers and so on. One evening I walked to Landguard Point and it reminded me a bit of Dungeness and I liked it there.
I went to a 3rd birthday party picnic in St Albans and made bubbles appear and flew a butterfly kite through the air.
I jumped aboard a boat that had intended to go the Maunsell Forts, but unfortunately there was a problem and the boat had to come back before it got there. I did go for a walk from Whitstable to Tankerton that day though at least.
I sang songs in a Japanese karaoke room in the back of a bookshop at
I wandered around Abney Park cemetery with
I visited the Markfield Beam Engine and then joined
I ate vegan mango lassi nitro ice-cream from Chin Chin Labs and Young Vegan's macaroni cheese and then celebrated
I went on a work trip to Brentwood and briefly wandered around there.
I helped unlock a cabinet with wine in at the Lady Chastity's Reserve escape room, with
I had drinks with colleagues who were leaving and another evening, work drinks at the Book Club. I wore a pirate hat with “Home taping is killing music” stuck to the front for an theme of the 1980s.
I had lunch with the Farringdon lunch club one lunch time and we ate pizza from Pixxa and sat outside in the sunshine.
I did the
Ingress:
I did the Project Omniscience banner before attending the Ingress Enlightened monthly social.
One weekend, I wandered around the museums in South Kensington, frowning at War Horse Joey, doing the A Museum Too Far banner.
Another weekend, I did the Liberator banner, ate watercress and lime flavour ice cream, saw art at a Kinetica exhibition, and also photos of a strange pink bunker.
I also did the London banner around London Bridge and the FelixBRO banner in Felixstowe.
I wandered around Kingston one evening and did the Flowers of Kingston banner.
I ate vegan fried chicken at the Temple of Seitan and then did the Energy Core banner, walking from King's Cross to Camden, past the Hardy Tree.
I visited Ewell and did the Swirl banner there.
