Sounds interesting! Is it just for academics though?

My workplace let me go to Making the City Playable (http://www.watershed.co.uk/playablecity/conference14/) last year, so it is possible they might let me go to something random this year also. :)

Nah, it is open to all, and very focused on making things not on academic discussions. Alan made an 'outcomes' page to try and help peolpe justify it to their workplaces. Now I look at it, I am listed twice! http://tireetechwave.org/outcomes/
