Blue sky, liquid sky

On Tuesday, I ate blue sky caramel ice cream and then that evening saw Liquid Sky at the ICA cinema. It was a strange film from 1982, where tiny invisible aliens were drawn to heroin, and then caused people to die/vanish when they had an orgasm. The 80s, gosh!

Liquid Sky used to a be a staple film (in the USA in the early - mid 80s at least) for punk / new wave types hanging out and then saying "let's put a video on!" or saying "I'm having a video party, we're gonna watch Liquid Sky, and... (fill in list of other films here)". Also seemed to get shown every so often by some campus film soc or another
