PLS TAKE

"PLS TAKE," was scrawled in chalk on the pavement. These words were originally next to abandoned flower pots full of dirt and sad looking plants, but they had quickly vanished, leaving only the words.

She thought about standing there, next to the words, and waiting, just waiting. Perhaps the pavement itself wanted to be taken, or a passing ant.

Perhaps it is where you queue for rides on a spaceship! Maybe that's where the plants went.
