Clocktower

I am drawn to the clocktower in Southampton, it's been taking over my thoughts a lot recently. When I used to think of "clocktower", I'd think of the one in Back to the Future, and therefore time travel. If I think of other almost similar clocks, big public clocks, I think of the church clock, that subconsciously chimes "Grow old along with me, the best has yet to be" across the village along with the time. The clocktower in Southampton is different though, and it glows at night.

The real reason I am obsessed with the clocktower: I believe there is a lighthouse inside it. I am intrigued by people climbing the clocktower/lighthouse, since I think they may turn into tiny miniature lighthouses too.

I think of Big Ben as just being Big Ben, and not as a clocktower. I guess I knew about the existence of Big Ben before I knew about the concept of clocktowers.
