Snow, being in a daze, Plush, Portland
Apr. 10th, 2003 03:03 pmI received a phonecall, and it was a man who said, "look out the window". I looked, and replied to him, "it's snowing," and then we both hung up.
--
I had a driving lesson today, and my instructor repeated the words, "it seems like they're transfixed, in a daze." "Is that how you feel?" he asked, and I told him it was. I need to look around more, I need to notice everything in this real world, and maybe turn my head a bit to the side and not just vaguely look out the corner of my eye. I also need to stop noticing the meaning in what people write, since it does me no good at all.
--
I want to visit Plush.
I want to visit Droop.
I want.. something to do this weekend.
--
Last weekend I saw Rules of Attraction at the cinema, and I also went to Portland. It seemed somehow like a different country, houses set in hills and a dust that wasn't really there but seemed to cover everything anyway. I ate peach melba. The pebble banks were fun to crunchily glide down, masses of stones tumbling with every step. I watched the sea, laid amongst pebbles, and found one that looked just like an eye. I ate dinner in a boat that was tipped on its side and made into a bench.

hee hee.
i watched RULES OF ATTRACTION for the 1stX
about a mth. ago, and had a serious deja vu.
why? why? i think of the mind as a super highway
w/lanes running backwards (past) steady (present)
and super fast (future). sometimes i change
lanes suddenly, and THAT'S what i think is deja vu.
