I imagined the train, not crowded with people but crowded with sandcastles.

What I think is most interesting about that (because I am a giant nerd) is the way the invention of the steam sander brings back locomotives with one driving axle, but with huge wheels, like the Stirling Single (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNR_Stirling_4-2-2), an elegant look that'll never be repeated.
