As a child fond of triangles, I wanted to be able to manufacture triangle-shaped items, such as cups, shoes, etc. Now, I have access to the most triangle-like letters, which I have decided are:
AKMNVWXYZ

Maybe-isms for triangles:

A NAVY YAK MAY YANK MY WAY WAVY YAM.

A WAN MYNA MAY AX A WAX MAW.

ANY ZANY MAN MAY YAWN.

What about the letter 'L' ? It's 2/3 of a right angled triangle all on its own.

Clearly for a letter to qualify as triangular in Squirmeliande it must have a line at a diagonal as compared to the horizontal.

Who is Stuart N Hardy again?

Ah - prejudice against the right angle. That's fair enough. Not nearly spiky enough, I can see that now.

Well, you've got to watch out for those far right angles and their Trigo-Nazi tendencies.

It's all very well for them to *say* they're two thirds of a triangle, but they might just as easily be half a quadrilateral or a quarter of a swastika.

It's not a case of qualifying as being triangular, it's about imagining triangles to be there, amongst the letters. You can imagine the triangles to be anywhere, anywhere at all, but I'm imagining them to just be in certain letters..

Which brings us on to the topic of Stuart N Hardy. He writes letters. Lots of letters.

Oh, I think F is only ever going to be a pretender. It's very square.

Probably wise to be selective. Only let in things with diagonal lines.

I contemplated the letter "L" for many an hour, but then realized if I let in "L" to my special triangular-letter-club, I'd have to let in "F" as well, and then you might as well just starting writing letters a bit more pointy, and include "B", because that could have two triangles, and then you'd just have the whole alphabet in there, pretending to be triangular.
