Smarties, hair, pavement webs, flip-flops

I am saving green smarties and eating all the rest. There were 15 in the tube I just ate.

I attempted 51: Pull out a hair. I am now less one hair. Somehow I don't think even I care for that hair, wherever it may be now. H-air.

The pavement seemed to be covered with that cotton-wool-like fake spider's web substance that you get on Halloween, and as I stared at that, a branch of a tree brushed against my arm, and it wasn't until a few minutes later that I realized.

Marching for peace with my Mum and her friends, they speak of their experiences protesting against the Vietnam War- how they brought along the same flavour sandwiches and such. They speak of love-ins in Amsterdam, and pink lemonade pouring out of fountains by order of the mayor. Their legs painted with "pax", which looks like "pox" in the newspaper pictures. They tell me of beaches, their collections of abandoned plastic flip-flop sandals, and "dog", a washed-up straggly toy they found on the shore.
