Painshill

I wandered around a gothic temple on Saturday, as well as a vineyard, a ruined abbey, a mausoleum, a hermitage, a Turkish tent, a waterwheel, the remains of a temple of Bacchus, an amphitheatre, and an ice-house. I also climbed a gothic tower, and went inside a crystal grotto. This was all at Painshill Park in Surrey.

We went to Painshill once several years ago. It really is lovely. I also remember we saw a water rat in the stream alongside the Crystal Grotto.
