We are now arriving at Pixie

I heard the announcement, "We are now arriving at Pixie", and looked out the window of the train, hopeful, before realising it was actually Pittsea.

I thought of Eltham then, the one in Melbourne, which is said, "Elf-am".

Yesterday, a different train, less elves and pixies, but as the train went through Meopham, I remembered splendorsine calling it "Me-o-fam", and that amused me still.

We drove past a place yesterday called Ogle.

Excellent! Southampton had an Ogle Road, but it did not seem to lead to Ogle.

It's in Northumberland. I had to check on Google Maps as I've seen quite a lot of the country in the past week ;)
