I found my hairbrush, acting as roadkill, surrounded by asphalt.
I'm actually doing research. Like a lot of people, I have the strange impression that the outside world is somehow completely unkempt, that everything out there is up for scrutiny and destruction. So, I am indulging in the non-intentional placement of objects. Let's face it, if there was no interference by people, things such as these would not exist: last night's Sex and The City episode with the playing cards that appear around the city (2 of Hearts, King of Hearts), the Book-crossing thing, the Found magazine, etc.

I was going to buy a bag of compost, but then I wondered where I'd put it.. it was suggested that I put it outside, but I was worried it would get wet. It's dirt! It can get wet! It's not going to explode!
