Hmm, maybe it's the modernity, rather than your skill level. It looks like something that'd go on the top of the plant of an evil corporate sewage empire, rather than a Gothic cathedral.

It got damaged yesterday! My mum kicked it off the stairs accidentally and now there is a crack. Poor little gargoyle.

I think it looks more like an alien / boglin than a gargoyle really.

Oh, no! But it's a very hardy gargoyle if it can get kicked off the stairs and only sustain a crack.
