It's February now, and I spent all of January being vegan. Surely I must have vegan super powers by now? I also have not drunk any alcohol so far this year.
At the end of February, I get older again, but there are already too many things people have arranged the weekend before my birthday, so I am not going to arrange anything. There's a Flickr meet in Brighton, a BarCamp in Bournemouth, and people have mentioned going to Vagabonds or Metal Warriors in London. Or I might do something else entirely.
This week, in Oxford, I am going to Pecha Kucha, My Name is Mud Books launch party, and to see The Interminable Suicide of Gregory Church by Daniel Kitson. I may also go to the Radcliffe Cake-a-rama.
There's also a camera sale at my local Oxfam that starts on February 3rd, and it's Russell Hoban Day on February 4th. I want to go to Wet Sounds, which is an underwater sound installation, as I went to see Nurse with Wound in London a few years ago and enjoyed that. It's on at the Temple Cowley Pools. (Anyone want to come?) There's Geek Night on the 9th. There is a Flickr meet on the 17th and the Oxford Flickr group are going to Bristol on the 19th. There's UX Bookclub on the 24th. My February looks as if it could be busy.
