Glow in the dark Fungi

Basket fungi not glowing in the dark

I was reading How to Make the Most of a Flying Saucer Experience and it mentioned how it is easy to think glowing owls are UFOs, and the owls glow because of the bio-luminescent fungi. Is there anywhere in the UK that is good for seeing foxfire / bio-luminescent fungi? I could just try growing my own (from The Glow Fungi Project).. has anyone else tried growing any?
