Falling out of dreams
Mar. 3rd, 2003 11:06 amI've been reading Jeff Noon's new book lately, "Falling out of Cars". I am of course hoping that his style will somehow creep into my Nanowrimo novel. Instead, as I try to sleep, I suddenly think that maybe one of my characters should have a snail that they sellotape to their leg, as if it were a leech. Do you have a snail sellotaped to your leg? Let me know.
My falling in love with inanimate objects as a common occurrence thing has made me wonder how many objects there are in the world that I could fall in love with. Would I have to fall in love with specific things, or just the whole category? Oily puddles, dried up puddles, or muddy puddles?
