Butterflies and Iguanas

I am currently near to Quepos.

Today, I have been to a butterfly garden and also to a waterfall and the beach. I have seen iguanas and monkeys.

The cloud forest was amazing!

Indeed, Dean and the F one didn't stay/go far enough south to affect Costa Rica. I've been keeping an eye on such things as I also have a friend on holiday in Aruba currently.

In other news, i went to see a place today that was too small (tiny bedrooms) but then tonight on one last browse through gumtree found this listing: Green Low Energy Garden Flat (http://www.gumtree.com/london/88/13245888.html). I will be calling on it first thing in the morning. *fingers crossed* it works out :-) as it *sounds* perfect in the advert

the landlord or agent or whatever he is is being weird though!! He tells me someone else has seen and said they'd get back to him . They have not put down a deposit. and yet... until he hears back from them he won't even show me the place?!?! wtf

he only listed it on gumtree yesterday evening too.

(i have an Saturday noon appointment to see a place that backs onto highgate woods and has a roof terrace btw. but I suspect I'd rather we got the little one story energy efficient place in the wooded looking garden...)
