I'm in Kent now and am tempted to play amongst the hay bales.

I watched Before Sunset again recently and am thinking about the scene where Céline says, "Now that we've met again, we can change our memory of that December 16th. It no longer has that sad ending of us never seeing each other again. Right?" and Jesse replies, "Yeah, you’re right. I guess a memory is never finished. As long as you're alive..."

I suppose that's how I'm trying to think at the moment, about Southampton, that my memories of it aren't finished.

I received the Open House London guide for September 15th and 16th and am trying to decide what to see. Is anyone else intending to go?

You might be able to get the printed version for free from your local library or somewhere similar? (Or buy it or the PDF online.)

Gherkin tends to become fully booked in about 5 minutes after booking opens (probably at 9am on Friday), but I am slightly tempted to try anyway.

May as well try booking the Gherkin, just in case, as I've always wondered about going up there. If you do, try grab me a ticket too pretty please - I'm likely to still be in bed at 9am as that's what I do in the mornings.

Strangely, I can often get up earlier at weekends than I do on weekdays. Admittedly that's not going to happen if I've been up partying until 6am, but I don't do that every weekend! Best go for later tickets if possible, but see if you can get them at all first! :)

I booked us tickets. :) It wanted your address as well as mine, but luckily you had filled in my Christmas card poll. I didn't have time to look up your phone number, so I just typed mine for that as well. Didn't quite get the time I wanted, but oh well, got: Sat 15 Sep 3:20 PM.
