Thanks! They were lovely trees and I got quite distracted by them while the other Flickr people were taking photos of the castle remains. :)

Could not agree more; trees are far more pretty than castle remains.

Oh, I do like castles, but I definitely like trees more!

The strangely organic within the definitely inorganic is always a delight - kind of expect Ariel to come leaping out...

Definitely inorganic = computer screen?

Vark *is* a somewhat suggestive word

Oops, I meant "bark". Typo.

I preferred it with typo. There are no accidents, at least not in my febrile imagination.

Actually, it does look kind of silvery, so perhaps it could be vark!

They were definitely strange trees!

Heh, I saw these too and thought, these are either some very strange looking trees, or some kind of body art! I'm glad these replies have clarified they're trees :)

That's just rude. I'm shocked at you Jodi.

There's nothing rude about those trees. :P

I love your work, would you consider letting us use some on the next album?
We probably can't guarantee global recognition (judging by the many copies I still have un-sold of Lummox) but would be really honoured if we can find something that you'd feel comfortable letting us use.
I have a feeling your artistry may well last the test of time long after my music has become a dried up old husk.

I'd be extremely flattered if you wanted to use any! Feel free to use whatever you want.

Thankyou so much,
All I need now is work out a way to see your flickr account (My work won't let me).
The working title for the album is 'It's not the medal that you hoped for' and I thought of you when I saw the picture of the dandelion in the wind, at least I hope it was a dandelion!
But we were told our sound was 'organic' which I sort of liked and that is exactly how I perceive your work. Sort of hoping that doesn't make us hippies, but if so 'ces't la vie'

regards
