It had snowed earlier in the week and was forecast to again, so I was coated in vast layers of clothing as I laid on the patio. It was the night and I was transfixed with the moon that was not quite full and with the way the clouds were lit up around the edges. They glowed when the moon crept towards them and the calm dark sea just in front of me changed shade just slightly. Although my gloved fingers had begun to swell from the coldness, I just wanted to stay there that night, looking out to sea.

Yes that they are. There's nothing quite like the majesty of a several hundred ton lump of rock just sitting there unmoving andin some ways gentle.
