Such beautiful, sensually twisted trees.

I can feel the wind...

What, what? Red crosses for you, or are they just funny trees?

Most of the trees were strangely skewed in one direction, which was quite strange. It was one of those weird bits of land, a peninsular, I guess, like a natural pier out into the sea. I found the trees amazing (and the wild goats, who spend their time looking out to sea!).

I reckon that tree on the right was once symmetrical, but a half-tree collector got to it.

The tree on the right looks like it is out of a cartoon. It’s the suddenness at which it turns horizontal :-)

That happens on sticking-out bits of the Isle of Wight as well; it's the direction of the prevailing wind.

way cool the trees are trees but they look like other things or taking on an emotion:
like the tree on the left loks like it going to hug or running rily fast
the one on the right looks lonely in solitude or it marge simpsons's hair in the fan

Half-tree collectors are such a menace.

Someone should put a plaque next to the tree about Marge Simpson's hair!

If you are lost in a forest and can't find your way out, and hope to find a clearing, then there might be too many trees.

Hi there.

Not sure which is more fascinating to me - the twistedness of the trees, or the difference in the colour of the sky. Great pictures.
