Devil's Toenails and other Fossils
Aug. 5th, 2025 07:58 pmI found a lot of devil's toenails when I visited Marske. They are also called Gryphaea, and are a genus of extinct oyster. They may be around 200 million years old.

I can't seem to stop finding pottery sherds, so here are some sherds I picked up on the beaches, as well as some pretty stones and some glass:
