I used my 14.4k modem to dial up to a BBS for the first time in decades and it still worked!

Sounds of the 14.4k modem, the same sounds Paulstretched, then some additional tones added:

I continued doing a Sonic Art class, which was fun. Here's an abstract exercise I did during a class: Abstract exercise on SoundCloud.

Here's a collaborative piece we made sound pieces for and the teacher put together: CityLitSonicArt on Twitter.

Here are some sound pieces I created, on silences:

Not Silences on SoundCloud.

I headed up to virtual Edinburgh to see Daniel Kitson's Dot Dot Dot.

I went to an Ingress First Saturday in virtual Aberystwyth and then we ended up trying to find portals in Spain.

I played various games with friends, such as Scattergories and Codenames.

I took part in Rovember, organised by [profile] clarisinda and walked at least 10,000 steps every day of November.

I went to a Soundwalk workshop, which was part of the Greenwich Sound/Image festival, and learnt about making soundwalks. They issued the challenge to make a soundwalk in 2 weeks, so I created pieces, using sounds recorded from underneath pylons and beside electricity boxes and photos of pylons turned into sound files. The soundwalk: Pylons.

I went to a Crafternoon organised by [personal profile] jacquic and made a collage.

I played Dominion with [personal profile] glyn.

I stayed in Kent for a while and walked across fields and in woods and photographed fungi and recorded the sounds of pylons and saw rainbows. I remember running by the river and past the cows, to the Roman villa one morning, when everywhere was covered in frost, and it looked beautiful.

I watched some of the talks at the WordPlay festival, which was about writing and words in games.

I watched Introducing 'A Proposal for Radical Hospitality', at the Greenwich Sound/Image festival.

I played Mutazione and Kentucky Route Zero with [profile] hovis.

I phoned a phone number in Kentucky Route Zero in real life and listened briefly.

I went to a collaborative sonic arts workshop and learnt about collaborative sonic art and helped create a few sound pieces. We drew scores and made sounds as we followed them. We recorded sounds on different themes prior to the session and recorded them, and then combined them into pieces together. It was fun!

I watched a live stream of the band, Foxcunt playing a gig.

I went to VCom and I remember a horse bartender in a bar at a burn on the moon.

I walked around Richmond Park and saw deer in the distance. I wandered amongst the trees and saw some colourful fungi.

I ate salty fingers and kalettes for the first time! I also tried kissabel apples, which were red inside, and kiwi fruits that were red inside.
