I organised an Ingress First Saturday event in Richmond and was the Enlightened leader! 74 players turned up plus some non-players. There were missions to do and routes to walk and puzzles to solve and cakes to eat and 3D printed capsules to win and drinks and a picnic on the Green.

I went to Dorkbot and listened to talks on subjects such as 3D printing shape changing jelly, using neural networks for fake news and music based on a dancer's movements.

I ate aperol spritz ice cream and Breakfast in Turin ice cream.

I went to a Manga exhibition with [personal profile] doseybat and [personal profile] fluffymark at Japan House. I also used the Japanese style toilet there!

I went to the UX & Agile Roundabout and checked people in and gave out name badges and saw a colleague give a good talk.

I went to the Beyond the Road exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery with [personal profile] glyn. I ate peach oolong ice cream.

I partied all night at a housewarming.

I went to karaoke to celebrate a friend's birthday and sung some songs.

I went to a Digitiser event and saw Teletext appear on screens and Mr Biffo and Mr Hairs.

I went to the seaside with my mum and we walked from Broadstairs to Margate and I swam in the sea, and we stared at photos of the seaside in the Turner Gallery. I peeked into a cave in Kingsgate.

In the City, the cart marking ceremony happened and I saw vehicles such as the Imber Bus, horse and carts, and various old vehicles go past on their way to the Guildhall.

I spent a long weekend in Lyon, where there was an Ingress Anomaly. More than 900 players gathered to play Ingress, a location based mobile phone game, and battled on street corners. The Enlightened, the green side, the one I am on, won! This was my 8th Ingress Anomaly but the first where I have been a co team lead.

I also spent some time sightseeing. I visited an award winning car park, rode a funicular, visited the remains of a Roman theatre, amphitheatre and aqueduct, ate tomato and basil ice-cream, madeleine ice-cream, pink praline and coussin de Lyon. I wandered around the traboules and pushed open doors to reveal courtyards. I walked by the turquoise river, saw an old astronomical clock and visited the basilica.

I started constructing a mind controlled kaleidoscope.

I did the God Save the Queen Ingress banner.

I ate blackberry and lavender ice cream and did the Welcome in Covent Garden Ingress banner.

I did more of the Walthamstow Mystery banner and went to see the Wood Street Horse Chestnut, one of the great trees of London.
