What I did in October 2018

Much of October was spent recovering from the surgery I had at the end of September, so was a lot quieter than most months.

I got tired of staying in and watching Netflix and wished I was out exploring the world.

I finished playing Thimbleweed Park and treated it a bit as a walking simulator, not being able to go out walking much myself and feeling frustrated.

One lunch time, I ate a burger at the Arancini Brothers and it was delicious.

I visited the Newport Street Gallery and saw Parasites by Martin Eder which was quite weird and amusing.

I had drinks with verlaine to celebrate his birthday at the Triple Crown.

I got trapped in a shopping centre in Croydon, but eventually I found my way to The Heart of Gaming and saw Super Hamlet 64 - Videogame Shakespeare.

I went on a photo walk with colleagues one lunch time.

I took the boat to Greenwich with my family to celebrate my mum's birthday and we wandered in the park.

I went to Ichiba at Westfield and bought a Totoro lunch box.

doseybat and I saw the House of Kings and Queens exhibition at Rich Mix and then I drank cheese matcha at Bee Bae and dressed as taiyaki! We also ate delicious Kimchi and chocolate potatoes at Vegan Yes.

I dressed as Vampire Link for Halloween and went to a fabulous party that had great decorations and excellent people, and then dressed in the same costume for a day at work.

I went to the Mission Day in Southampton and it felt strange to be back there, and all the memories of the time I spent there rushed back. I was surprised the Bargate Centre was being knocked down. I ate redbull ice-cream.

I did the London Eye at Night banner and the LCD Calculator banner and wandered around South Kensington.
