Quite a lot of May was taken up with making things for Schloss Kaltenberg, but I did do a few other things:

I saw Mary and the Witch's Flower at the cinema with [personal profile] doseybat.

I visited the village where I grew up and my Mum and I wandered across the fields and into the woods to gaze upon the bluebells. We then headed to Rochester for May day celebrations at the Sweeps Festival. We watched Morris dancers, chimney sweeps and also saw the Jack in the Green pass by.

I saw Vinicius Salles / Glitch with [personal profile] miss_newham at Croydon Town Hall.

I went to a work event at the NEC and dressed up in an orange jumpsuit and pretended I was in Orange is the new Black, sat on the sofa as if in Stranger Things, and played on a not very good swing,

I ate food at Rudy's Dirty Vegan Diner in Camden with [personal profile] doseybat.

I had lunch with the Farringdon Lunch Club. The Fence had a vegetarian month, so we went there to try the food.

I peered at Linda Kitson's iPad Drawings one lunchtime.

Mario appeared in my office.

I saw Montparnasse bienvenue (Jeune Femme) at the cinema with [personal profile] doseybat. I also drank pennywort drink and ate palm cake.

I spent a few days in Munich after Schloss Kaltenberg. I ate roast potato ice-cream. I visited the Olympic Park and stared out at the views from the Olympic Tower. I climbed the stairs inside the statue of Bavaria and sat inside her head. I visited the Valentin-Karlstadt-Musaeum and saw things such as a winter toothpick covered in fur, a melted ice sculpture, and stared up at the backwards clock on the tower.

I visited the Frauenkirche and stood in the devil's footprint.

I wandered around the English Garden and watched people surf on the Eisbach Wave on the river and stared up the Chinese Tower.

I ate amazing apple strudel.

I saw a large statue of a running man.

I saw the Rathaus-Glockenspiel move and the characters fight.

I rode in a paternoster lift at the Municipal Building.

Ingress:

I went to Schloss Kaltenberg! You can read about our portal here: Surrealist Dreams Portal.

While I didn't really have time/energy to do many of the things like archery, the Ingress RPG, sword-fighting, felt-making, etc, I did do the Imperfect Humanist banner, and I went on a torch hike to do the Epiphany Night banner, and I saw the NL-1331 van, and I watched a fire show, saw knights wearing armour wandering around, drank some mead, and also sat around a campfire for a bit after the portal was constructed. I also went on a tour of the castle. I danced out glyphs (occasionally successfully!) and popped bubbles that emerged from our portal, and watched the lobster dance. I peeked at other team's portal projects, as they were being constructed.

I did the Funky Owl banner in Munich one evening and had a gentle meander around Munich, and another day, I did the Chinese Tower banner.

I went to XFac drinks in Richmond one evening and there was quite a lot of talk of eels.

I finished the Wren's churches banner, and stared up at many churches in the City.

I went to birthday drinks / leaving drinks for some Ingress players.

I had avocado on toast at a breakfast meet up and then swam in the Serpentine! It was actually very pleasant. Also did the A Police Box Too Far banner around Hyde Park.
