Monday

I heard strong winds during the night, but awoke to find sunshine and a calm sea.

Anstey's Cove looked beautiful with the blue sky and pale blue/green sea, and the rocks sticking out of the sea. A rainbow then appeared, just a segment, between the rocks.

Between Kilmorie beach and Meadfoot beach, the sea splashed up over the road. Wandered around Torquay and then briefly visited Broadsands where last February I saw a basking shark.

Tuesday

Mothecombe Coastguards was the first beach of the day. A pretty beach with a person painting a picture of the beach. The sky and sea were bluer in the painting than reality. The bay was edged with trees.

I chased a butterfly underneath a rainbow.

--
The second beach was Bantham, a much wider beach, cold and windy. I headed up from the beach and began to wander across the cliff-tops. I did not want to turn back as I was enticed by the scenery around every bend, including Thurlestone Rock. Oh, I felt delighted by this walk, wandering along the cliff tops, peering down at the rocks below and the waves.
--
Hope Cove was the third beach I visited on Monday and I saw a sign for Outer Hope (straight on) and Inner Hope (left).

I drank coffee and found Outer Hope.
--
That night, I went to the beach in the dark and watched the waves and the stars.
