Weekend in London
Feb. 3rd, 2003 04:20 pmWent to Tenebrae at Gossips, a guerrilla film-making workshop, a Zokutou writers' meet, and a photography gallery, amongst other places. Also ate food off a conveyor belt, and looked for hell. Although I didn't manage to find a portal, the area around Euston can seem sinister if you look at it in the right way.
Something I did realize is how out of touch with everything I am. You know how Doug says something like that he used to think it would be cool to wake up after a coma or similar after many years, because of all the stuff that would have happened, news and such. Then he goes on to say that every day is like that now. I feel like that. There's no way I can attempt to even find out the vaguest semi-mundanities about modern day popular culture, and try to converse with people about them. Although I can still quote Doug, of course, and this diary seems to be turning in to a bit of a Dougfest.
I'm looking forward to attempting to make films though. It's been a long time now since I filmed the everyone dying from drug ODs in my garden type stuff.
