Glimmering silver words

I arrived in Santander, Spain on a Thursday evening in April, and after I found the hostel where I was staying, I began to explore. The sun was shining brightly, everything was new and strange, and I admit I was a little sleep deprived and caffeinated, and this all added up to everything taking on an extra vividness. The pink and yellow buildings towered up against a blue sky, and underneath the buildings was the wall in the picture: A wall adorned with glimmering silver words that I simply did not understand.
