Saw Jeff Noon in London, where he read from his new book. He was very excited about the book, even when the fire alarm made his words fade into the distance. I started to shake.

If you can read this, then you are alive.

Saw the Extra Art: A survey of Artist's Ephemera, at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, which had some amusing art, and art with words! There was also some work by Jenny Holzer there, and by Jeff Koons (Check out Douglas Coupland's article about Jeff Koons.) This was an advert, amongst other adverts:

Tell a lie.

Ended up seeing flocks and flocks of pigeons, all swarming like bats flying out of a belfry. Was strangely breath-taking, pigeons have never had this effect on me before. My novel then seemed to need a character who had a fetish for pigeon feet. Saw the film, "28 Days Later". Met up with some Monochrome people and then some Nanowrimo people. Some people's novels were interesting, where as mine just smelt interesting.
